The beginning of taking measurements - a woman is facing you-
L1. Neck girth.
L2. Chest girth (taking high points of shoulder-blades and chest).
L3. Waist girth.
L4. Hips girth (taking high points of buttocks and abdomen).
L5. Chest centre .
L6. Chest width I (the distance between arm-pits, the most narrow space).
L6a Chest width II (the distance between arm-pits taking high points of chest).
-a woman is standing sideways- ( the right hand should be in front of you, the highest point of the shoulder is to be found )
L7. The oblique shoulder height - back I (from the crossing point of waist-line and backbone to the highest point of the shoulder).
L8. The chest height (from the highest point of the shoulder to the chest centre).
L9. The fore-part waist length - (from the highest point of the shoulder to the adjusting waist-band). A flat object like ruler or comb, etc., should be placed close in the arm-pit.
L10. The flank height (from the edge of the ruler to the adjusting waist-band).
L11. The oblique shoulder height - back II (from the adjusting waist-band along the centre of the back to the shoulder end through the shoulder-blade).
L12. The oblique shoulder height - fore-part (from the shoulder end up to the highest point of the chest). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
L13. Shoulder length.
L14. The down-to-elbow length.
L15. The down-to-wrist length. Those three measurements are to be taken with the single touch of the tape-measure, measuring from the highest point of the shoulder down to the wrist, the arm is bended while measuring. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
L16. The arm girth at the arm-pit level.
L17. The elbow joint girth.
L18. The wrist girth.
L19. The seat depth - (the tape-measure should be put between legs and pulled tightly from the waist-band back point to the waist-band fore-part point).
L 20. The sitting height.
L 21. The hip girth.
L 22. The oblique hip girth.
L 23. The length of trousers or a skirt - (from the adjusting waist-band to the desired side length).

L24. The height of the back - (from the 7-th neck vertebra down to the adjusting waist-band).
L25. The width of the back (the distance between the arm-pits through the shoulder-blades).
L26. A client's height.
